我的名子叫公孫海。為什麼叫公孫海呢﹖就是因為英文名子叫Christopher Johnson短起來C Johnson,那麼 C 的聲音比 sea 一樣﹐翻譯成中文有‘海’﹐而且Johnson比‘公孫’聽起來差不多一樣。
故鄉叫 Barnet﹐ 離倫敦中間十英里。年紀五十一歲。愛丁堡大學東亞系畢業生。住在台北十五個月了﹐住在大連六個月了﹐現在住在Barnet。

My Chinese name is Gongsun Hai. Why so? It's because my English name is Christopher Johnson, which is shortened to C Johnson. Now 'C' sounds the same as 'sea', which translated into Chinese (Mandarin pronunciation) is 'hai', moreover 'Johnson' sounds quite like 'Gongsun'.
My hometown is Barnet, which is ten miles fron the centre of London. I am fifty-one years old. I am a graduate of the East Asian Studies department of Edinburgh University. I've lived in Taipei for fifteen months, and in Dalian for six months, now I live in Barnet.
I have been working as an entertainer, but as I recently damaged my back I feel I ought to look for a new profession. I have worked for some years as an English teacher in Taiwan, the Chinese mainland, England and Wales, and would now like to become a teacher of Chinese and Mandarin. Can anyone help me achieve this ambition?
To help foreignors relatively easily learn Mandarin pronunciation I have composed a Chinese song, called 'the Headstand Song'; yesterday I published it on the web. If you are a teacher of Mandarin could you please play the song to your students, and then let me know if it helped them? Thank you Chris, your song is very nice, it is cute with the child's voice. It seems Chinese version is better than the English one:)

There is a small mistake 我去了看病 shoud be 我去看病了, OR 我去看了病 . Becuase qu + v is inseparable. Cool
