We have a large number of permanent teaching staff. We believe this is essential to maintain
consistency and quality in our courses and to develop new materials and approaches to language
learning and teaching. In addition to our permanent staff we also use carefully selected fixed-term
contract teachers for shorter periods. In this way we are able to maximise our flexibility and ensure
that staff experience and expertise precisely match the client's needs. They are all CRB checked and
specialised in teaching children.

Zhu Yang
MA Mass Communications | As a former news presenter in China, Zhu Yang's Mandarin is 100% standard. She now works for LCA as a dynamic Chinese lecturer for all age groups. As a young creative teacher, her teachings are flexible, creative and practical. She believes that her students ''can not only learn perfect Mandarin but also know much more about China, for instance culture, history, custom etc''.

Yang Xu
MA Education | Yang Xu's eight years' experience as a Mandarin teacher has afforded her numerous opportunities to introduce the Chinese language and culture to children from different backgrounds. She is ''committed to help her students developing their greatest potential''. |
Xiaoxin Liu
BA TCSL | Xiaoxin Liu is from Shanghai, she achieved her BA in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language. She sees teaching as her passion and has accumulated significant experience teaching in various settings, from one-to-one tutorials to group learning, from cultural club to GCSE/A-level Exam Preparation. |
Dan Jiang
MA Linguist | Dan Jiang's teaching experience is back to 2001 and she was
working with a programme run by a consortium of American universities in Beijing. In 2005, She moved to Nanjing and starting teaching there. Then she further expanded her teaching experience in Shanghai in 2007. Now she teaches all age groups at LCA.
