We have a large number of permanent teaching staff. We believe this is essential to maintain consistency and quality in our courses and to develop new materials and approaches to language learning and teaching. In addition to our permanent staff we also use carefully selected fixed-term contract teachers for shorter periods. In this way we are able to maximise our flexibility and ensure that staff experience and expertise precisely match the client's needs.

Zhu YANG BA Journalism, MA Mass Comm

Zhu Yang is LCA’s Academic Director and Senior Teacher. She is responsible for academic development and the mentoring of new and existing staff. Zhu’s efforts have played an invaluable part in building a strong client base to include prestigious institutions within the UK. She has an in-depth understanding of our business needs and a unique ability to tailor course material to suit a wide diversity of requirements.

Wei ZHU
BA Economics, MA TCASL

Wei ZHU achieved her MA in TCASL (Teaching Chinese as a Second Language) in BA in Economics in the US. Prior to joining the school in 2010, Wei spent more than 10 years in the US teaching Chinese at Chinese American International School and ABC Language Exchange, this has afforded her numerous opportunities to introduce the Chinese language and culture to people from diverse backgrounds.

Dan Jiang
MA Linguist, MA Management

Dan Jiang's teaching experience is back to 2001 and she worked with a programme run by a consortium of American universities in Beijing. In 2005, She moved to Nanjing and starting teaching there. Then she further expanded her teaching experience in Shanghai in 2007. Now she teaches all age groups at LCA.She is popular with her students and is highly skilled at tailoring her curriculum to meet the needs of a wide range of students of different background.

Guidong Zheng TCASL, MA Mass Comm

Guidong Zheng achieved both his Certificate in TCASL (Teaching Chinese as a Second Language) in and MA Mass Communication in London. He sees teaching as her passion and has accumulated significant experience teaching in various settings, from one-to-one tutorials to big group classes, from Corporate Mandarin training to exam preparation course.

Xichen GUO

Xichen Guo was born in Hongkong and raised up in Shanghai. She then migrated to UK and she is perusing her BA in Finance in LSE.She has been teaching Chinese since 2004 and has build up a rich profile of students coming from all different background. From 5 year old child, GCSE Chinese preparation, HSK exam prep, Business Chinese to Conversational Practice, She always tailor her lessons to their strengths and weakness and matches to the objectives they are trying to achieve.
