Entry to the course is by phone assessment only. Applicants must contact the us for an assessment at least 3 weeks before the beginning of the term. Applicants should have covered the basic grammar structures of modern Chinese, and attained a reasonable level of fluency with a vocabulary of approximately 1,500 and about 1000 Chinese characters..

Description
This course aims to teach Chinese (Mandarin), with a commercial bias, to students wishing to improve their knowledge of spoken and written Chinese. Participants learn to handle a broad range of general business situations at a reasonable level of fluency.

LCA has researched various methods and  developed a unique effective style. What You Will Learn -  Chinese you can really use at work and daily life

These highly targeted training emphasises effective communication, thus you only need to learn the language required at your job or project work. As a result, this training is highly efficient, yet has obvious positive impacts on your work performance.

You will:

l          Increase knowledge of business and professional terminology;
l          Learn Chinese business customs and practices;
l          Learn proper manners of answering the telephone 
l          Practice taking messages and notes, and writing a brief summary report in Chinese.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course the student will have increased his/her vocabulary by 1,500 words to a total of 2,500–3,000 words, will know many commercial terms and phrases in common use, and be able to converse on general business themes.

It will allow you to relate your Chinese language study in improving:

l         Appropriate expressions for social occasion 
l         Communicative ability for everyday work 
l         Competence for cross-cultural communication

Class Size

The number of participants is between 6-12 to allow close involvement.
