The course aims to provide basic competence in understanding and speaking Mandarin and reading characters.
Who should attend
This course is devised specifically for students who are Cantonese speakers and familiar with Chinese characters.
This course introduces:
The course concentrates on teaching pronunciation and sentence structure using Hanyu Pinyin to enable students to learn standard Mandarin. Basic dialogue and vocabulary will be introduced. Class size is limited to 8 to enable optimum student participation.
