LCA Clubs
An interactive Mandarin club for pupils after school.
LCA Club is a great after-school provision, both online and face to face, for young pupils keen to get stuck into learning Mandarin and is easy to integrate with a school’s existing co-curricular programme.
For online clubs, pupils spend half of the club time benefitting from real-time teaching in the online classroom, involving interactive whiteboards and quizzes. The remainder of the club time is spent on the language-relevant e-learning platform navigating through interactive activities that range from simple matching games to reading/listening exercises, introducing grammar, vocabulary and culture. The platform is fun and engaging for pupils to use, rewarding success with virtual badges.
For face to face clubs, the teacher follows the same online club content and the whole class have face to face interaction with the teacher.
We provide only the best Mandarin teachers to our schools. The majority are currently teaching or have taught their chosen language in schools, and appreciate our focus on quality, engagement and reporting. They possess rich first-hand experience teaching online and undergo rigorous background checks to ensure safeguarding and professional delivery.
How does LCA Club work?
LCA Clubs are available any day after school, it can be online or face to face. for online clubs, the only requirements are:
- Broadband connection
- 1 x PC/Mac/Tablet per student OR via an interactive whiteboard
- Ideally 1 x headphone with mic per student OR via an interactive whiteboard
- 1 member of school staff to supervise the class
All of the classes and interactive exercises are hosted on our own bespoke platform, which includes a secure shared view for the teacher-led lesson. We also work with Zoom, Teams and GoogleMeet.

Safeguarding & Child Protection
We provide only the best foreign language teachers to our schools. Our teachers are a mixture of native and non-native teachers and, given the online nature of the delivery, are physically located all over the world! The majority are currently teaching or have taught their chosen language in schools, and appreciate our focus on quality, engagement and reporting. They possess rich first-hand experience teaching online and undergo rigorous background checks to ensure safeguarding and professional delivery.
